Dr. Chase Rainwater named IIE Student Chapter Outstanding Faculty Advisor
Dr. Chase Rainwater, Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering was recently named
Outstanding Faculty Advisor South Central Region, by the Institute of Industrial Engineers
for his work with University of Arkansas IIE Student Chapter.
Dr. Kim Needy, Department Head and Incoming President of the Institute of Industrial Engineers said, “We are very proud of Chase and greatly appreciate all that he does for IIE.
The awards will be officially announced at the IIE Annual Conference Honors and Awards Banquet to be held, May 18-22, 2013 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rainwater will also be serving as chair when the University of Arkansas student chapter hosts the regional student conference next year.
