State Minimum Core and General Education Requirements
State Minimum Core Requirements
Every student in the College of Engineering is required to complete a minimum of 18 semester hours in the social sciences, fine arts and humanities. INEG’s 18 hours of requirements include:
- HIST 2003 or HIST 2013 or PLSC 2003
- ECON 2143 Basic Economics or (ECON 2013 and ECON 2023)
- Social Science (From State Minimum Core List)
- Social Science (From State Minimum Core List)
- Fine Arts (From State Minimum Core List)
- Humanities (From State Minimum Core List)
