Conner Waybright
Photo of Conner WaybrightConner was born and raised just outside of Hershey, Pennsylvania, in a small town called Cleona. He enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things.
Seeking a degree in engineering, he saw attending the University of Arkansas as an opportunity to meet new people and bring unique perspectives and experiences to the student body. He chose to study industrial engineering for many reasons, but mainly because it was a challenge which would help him grow as an individual and professional.
Before moving to Arkansas, Conner worked for two years as a CNC machinist, where he made precision metal parts for all kinds of structures - from parts for nuclear reactors to window frames for the Empire State Building. This job is what initially sparked his interest in engineering.
He has since completed two internships - one as a Progress Engineer with Michelin, and one as a Supply Chain Manager with Walmart.
Conner has accepted a full-time position with Walmart in Bentonville, Arkansas. Upon graduation he will start his career as a Process Engineer. He is extremely grateful for all those who have supported and encouraged him during his time at the University of Arkansas.
